Everything that needs saying about deposits, delivery, cancellation and what the day costs to hold. Plain English, no surprises.

1 · Booking & deposit

A 20% deposit secures your date. We hold the wedding day for you only once the deposit clears — until then, the date stays open to other enquiries.

The remaining 80% is due no later than 7 days before the wedding. We accept bank transfer, PayPal, or cash.

The deposit is non-refundable. It covers the work we turn down to hold the date, and the preparation time we put in from the day you book.

2 · Unlimited consultations

Once booked, you have unlimited consultation calls with us — by phone or video — all the way through to the wedding. Talk it through as many times as you need. Shot list, schedule, venues, family politics, weather backup plans, the lot.

Unlimited calls are unlocked the moment your deposit clears. Before booking, we'll happily do one introductory call so you know who you're hiring.

3 · Delivery

Standard on every collection:

  • Selected photos on the day — up to ten hand-picked frames before the first dance.
  • Sneak peek within 48 hours.
  • Full gallery and highlight reel within 2 weeks.
  • Feature film within 3 weeks.

Heirloom collections often arrive sooner — typically 1 week for photographs and 2 weeks for the feature film. Signature delivery lands at the standard 2 / 3 week mark. The specific dates are confirmed in your booking contract.

4 · Cancellation & rescheduling

If you cancel, the 20% deposit is retained. Any further payments already made are refunded in full.

If you need to move the wedding to a new date, we'll transfer your booking to the new date free of charge — provided we are available, and provided the new date is within 18 months of the original. If we aren't free on the new date, your deposit remains non-refundable.

If we cancel — illness, injury, anything that takes us off the day — every penny paid is refunded in full. We also do our best to help you find another studio of comparable standard.

5 · Travel & expenses

Travel within Essex is included. For weddings beyond Essex — Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Kent, London or further — we'll quote travel and overnight costs (if needed) in your booking contract, agreed in writing before you commit.

6 · Images, film & usage

You receive a full personal-use licence to every photograph and film we deliver. Print them, share them, hang them on the wall, post them anywhere — they're yours.

We retain copyright for our own portfolio, website and social media use. If there's a specific image you'd rather we didn't share publicly, tell us — we'll keep it private.

7 · The wedding day

We arrive early, work the whole day, stay through the last dance. We do not re-stage moments after they happen — the version on screen is the version that happened.

One meal during the wedding breakfast, please. Twelve hours on the day is a long shift on bread and bag-of-crisps energy.

8 · Privacy

We hold your name, contact details and wedding date for the purpose of delivering the work you've booked. We do not share that information with third parties. After the wedding, we retain delivered images and films indefinitely (so you can come back for re-orders), and your contact details until you ask us to remove them.
